Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

At Antioch, serving is for everyone — no matter your age, skills, or schedule. Our Serve Teams are made up of people who simply love Jesus and want to use their gifts, big or small, to bless others.

Serving can look like straightening seats, making coffee, keeping connection cards stocked, or sweeping sidewalks so that every guest feels welcome on Sunday. It can also mean serving in hospitality, children’s ministry, technology, or other areas that keep our church moving forward. And sometimes it looks like being part of a mission service team — helping church members and neighbors with tasks they can’t do alone, like mowing a yard, fixing a leaky faucet, or lending a hand with projects around the home.

Every act of service matters, because when we serve together, we show the love of Christ in practical ways and help people take their next step with Him.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

Getting started is simple — just fill out a serve form or talk with one of our leaders, and we’ll help you find a place to use your gifts. Anyone can serve in areas like hospitality, facilities, coffee, or mission service teams.

How do I volunteer with kids?

Because we value the safety of every child, all volunteers serving in the Children’s Ministry must complete a background check before serving. You’ll also receive simple training and support so you can serve confidently.

How do I volunteer with hospitality?

Hospitality is all about making people feel welcome the moment they arrive. Volunteers can help with greeting at the doors, making coffee, preparing materials, or making sure our worship center is ready with connection cards and clean seating.

How do I volunteer with students?

Our Student Ministry leaders and volunteers walk closely with teenagers in Bible study, discipleship, and mentoring. To keep our students safe, all youth volunteers are required to be members of Antioch, complete a background check, and go through ministry training.
